Job summary

PDI Technologies is seeking a Data Analyst to design, develop, and deliver analytics solutions for Convenience Retail and Major Oil verticals. You will act as an SME, interfacing with customers to gather requirements, then building scalable reports and dashboards across Power BI and Sigma Computing.

You will tune SQL queries, leverage Spark SQL, and ensure data pipelines on Azure Synapse/Databricks run efficiently.

Qualifications

3–5 years of BI/Analytics experience.
3–5 years on a BI/analytics team with BI principles, architecture, and standards.
Strong self-starter with learning agility.
Excellent communication skills.
Exposure topayments or mobile payments data is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver custom reporting and analytics solutions for customers in Convenience Retail and Major Oil.
Interface with customers to understand needs and translate them into requirements.
Write and tune SQL (T-SQL and Spark SQL) to prepare, transform, and validate data.
Create BI reports and dashboards in Sigma Computing and Power BI.
Maintain BI solutions on the Azure data platform for optimal performance.
Collaborate with marketing/CRM to build audiences for campaigns.
Oversee external resources to ensure timely delivery and validate results.
