Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to design models and dashboards that inform people decisions. You will partner with People Leaders to understand questions, build robust analytics, and ensure insights align with bank-wide architecture.

You’ll translate business needs into technical requirements, perform rigorous analyses, and present clear narratives with data-driven recommendations to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience with RCA and data visualization tools.
• Proficient in SQL and Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with Workday Reporting & Discovery Boards.
• Knowledge of data governance and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical requirements.

The function balances local needs with System-wide alignment, ensuring consistency, risk mitigation, and high-quality service delivery.How You’ll Make an Impact as a People Analytics Specialist:The Data Analytics Specialist designs, develops and implements business-driven analytical products such as models, reports, workflows and dashboards. You will work closely with People Leaders, business stakeholders to understand the decisions, opportunities, and challenges they are navigating, frame analytical questions, develop and test hypotheses, analyze workforce data, and communicate findings, implications, and recommendations in a clear and actionable way.
