Job summary

The Jefferson County Department of Health is seeking a Data Management Specialist to document, report, and analyze data across public health domains. You will use SQL Server-based tools to transform data and create automated reporting solutions for internal departments.

Responsibilities include predictive analytics and developing scripts or applications to enhance IT reporting processes, with emphasis on accuracy, security, and compliance. A strong background in BI tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience extracting, transforming, and loading data with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience using at least one analytics/reporting tool: T-SQL, Crystal Reports, Power BI or Report Builder.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to internal and/or external customers.
• Create, edit, and maintain official forms and reporting documents.
• Build reports using Crystal Reports and SQL queries; present data clearly.
• Perform predictive analytics to support department needs.
• Engage in professional development and compliance with policies.
