Job summary

Summit Agricultural Group in Alden, Iowa is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to gain hands-on experience across a diverse organization. You will analyze trends, create reports, and support projects while collaborating with the analyst team.

B basing at our Alden headquarters, the internship offers exposure to financial modeling across agriculture investments, trend research in US and Brazil, and presentation preparation for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or above studying agricultural business, economics, finance or accounting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment.
• High level of interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently.

• Assist business units by creating, updating and analyzing financial models on a wide variety of private equity investments across the agriculture industry, both domestically and internationally.
• Create written and verbal research reports detailing findings from topics assigned. Specific subjects will likely include trend analysis in both the United States and Brazilian agriculture industries.
• Aid in presentation preparation for various internal and external audiences. Update and further analyze data and reports used to track agricultural trends and pricing.
• Manage special projects as needed.
• Deliver a final presentation to Summit's management team summarizing experiences, results, and accomplishments from the internship.
