NJM Insurance Group invites you to its 2027 Summer Internship Program in the IT Data Administration team in West Trenton, NJ. This internship provides hands-on work analyzing data, building data objects, and creating visualizations to support business decisions.

You will collaborate with leaders, participate in seminars, and contribute to projects involving data engineering, reporting, and vendor coordination, with networking events and leadership lunch opportunities.

Qualificações

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT
• Knowledge of SQL and/or Python
• Knowledge of database technologies (MS SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake)
• Experience with analytical/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, DOMO)
• Aptitude for data engineering/analytics
• GPA of 3.0 or higher; 3.5+ preferred
• Commute to West Trenton, NJ office

Responsabilidades

• Expand knowledge of data engineering and analysis and:
• Analyze source repositories and create database queries to retrieve information
• Build data objects to extract, transform or load information across the company ecosystem
• Create concise visualizations to provide insights to end users
• Perform ad-hoc analysis on incoming business requests to determine the proper action
• Explore edge technologies and present advantages to the team
• Coordinate discussions between internal and external resources to resolve requests
• Prototype new technologies or use cases of existing SAS offerings
