Job summary

IDB Invest is seeking a Data Analyst - Portfolio Management Intern in Washington DC. This paid internship targets active graduate students to learn development work and corporate management of the Bank through on-the-job learning.

You'll help develop data-driven solutions to improve portfolio monitoring, review dashboards in Power BI and Tableau, map data sources, and contribute to centralized portfolio performance reporting while collaborating with teams across the Bank.

Qualifications

• Active graduate student in computer science, data science, industrial engineering or similar from an accredited University. The graduation date should be after the Internship period.
• Fluency in English with a working knowledge of one other Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is a plus.
• Soft skills include being result-driven, collaborative, innovative, client-oriented, a strong communicator, self-motivated, eager to learn, and having excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Help develop data-driven solutions to improve portfolio monitoring and efficiency.
• Review and help improve Power BI and Tableau dashboards that provide visibility into portfolio quality and trends.
• Support the identification, mapping, and integration of key data sources to improve data accessibility, extraction, and validation.
• Support the development and maintenance of centralized portfolio monitoring dashboards that consolidate portfolio performance, compliance, and operational metrics.
