Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst Intern in Alpharetta, GA to turn data into meaningful insights. You will work with the Business Transformation Office Data Team on BI dashboards, data quality, and enterprise reporting initiatives.

The role offers hands-on experience with analytics, reporting, and business intelligence and requires an undergraduate student graduating May 2028. On-site work is required for the duration of the internship, May 24 – July 30, 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with expected May 2028 graduation date.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL, data analysis, data mining, and reporting concepts.
• Proficiency with Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with Python or related analytics languages is a plus.
• Ability to analyze data and communicate findings through reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance BI dashboards and reports.
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Support data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL.
• Create visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights.
• Identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities to inform decisions.
• Assist with customer migration data validation and progress tracking.
• Prepare findings for presentation to stakeholders and project teams.
• Collaborate with team members on data-focused projects and improvements.
