Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Project Analyst Intern to apply analytical thinking and process-improvement skills to modernize enterprise operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to document current-state processes and develop future-state recommendations.

This 10-week, on-site internship runs May 24 – July 30, 2027. Eligibility requires current undergraduate enrollment with expected graduation May 2028, and a strong interest in AI, governance, and analytics.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Analytics, MIS, Project Management, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field with a graduation date of May 2028.
• Experience using data, research, or business analysis to solve problems through academic, internship, project, or extracurricular experiences.
• Experience creating reports, presentations, or data-driven analyses through academic, internship, project, or extracurricular work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with collaboration and productivity tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
• Analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas and findings.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business processes, workflows, tools, and operational challenges.
• Analyze operational data, metrics, and business processes to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Document current-state workflows, process maps, and business requirements.
• Support assessments of governance, reporting, support, knowledge management, and business continuity processes.
• Research and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and process improvement techniques to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across business, product, technology, analytics, finance, and go-to-market teams.
• Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps.
• Present findings, recommendations, and future-state process improvement concepts to EPMO leadership and stakeholders.
