Job summary

Continental Resources is offering a Data Analyst Intern role focused on collaborating with Engineering teams to solve problems, automate processes, and improve business performance using data, analytics and AI capabilities. The internship provides hands-on learning in the oil and gas industry and opportunities to learn engineering concepts throughout the summer.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college or university.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in MIS/Data Analytics/Data Science/Math/Statistics/Economics or related field.
• Eligible to work permanently in the United States upon graduation.
• Pre-employment background check and drug test required.
• Preferred GPA at least 3.0

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions to streamline manual processes.
• Develop analytics solutions to help engineers and management make better decisions.
• Accumulate and organize data from multiple sources for engineering analysis.
• Capture and verify data accuracy and communicate corrections as needed.
• Develop more accurate and reliable data analyses and reporting methodologies.
• Other duties as assigned.
