Job summary

Corning is seeking a Data Science Intern in Painted Post, NY for Summer 2027. You will work with large datasets, apply supervised and unsupervised learning, and build dashboards to assist engineers in manufacturing.

You will gain hands-on experience with Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and SQL, and present findings through clear visualizations. The program includes housing and travel support and a final project presentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in data science or statistics
• Data analysis experience with Python, R, PowerBI
• Available for 10 weeks Summer 2027 with graduation December 2027 or later
• Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity
• Be willing to work at the posted job location
