Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is seeking a Data Science Intern to work with the PCG Product Systems Data Group in Cleveland, developing reports and dashboards and contributing to data visualization projects for R&D.

The role is a 12-week, in-person internship starting May 2027 with a mentor and project-based assessment. Applicants should be enrolled in STEM and have Python, SQL, and Tableau experience, plus strong analytics skills, GPA 2.8+, and willingness to work 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau).
• Understanding of statistical modeling, data wrangling, cleaning and transformation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willing to work up to 40 hours/week for 12 weeks (May–Aug 2027).
• GPA minimum 2.8.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Analyst to develop data reports and dashboards.
• Contribute to digital initiatives and data visualization projects for R&D.
• Track data trends and key metrics with PCG tools.
• Complete a technical project and present a summary at the end.
• Participate in networking and learning events during assignment.
