Job summary

South Jersey Industries invites students to join the Ignite Internship Program, an 11-week summer program designed to build a strong network within the SJI community and with fellow interns.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in data analytics, creating dashboards and reports, and will benefit from mentorship, educational seminars, volunteer opportunities, and visibility within the organization, all within a flexible hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented & motivated with a passion for data.
• Knowledge of ETL/LT tools like Informatica.
• Proficient with SQL and Python.
• Proficient with reporting tools like Power BI.
• Proficient with Databases like Snowflake, Oracle or SQLServer.

Responsibilities

• Develop Dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Power BI
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns and insights
• Support automation of data workflows and contribute to process improvements
• Perform Ad-Hoc analyses as requested by team
• Assist in building predictive models using statistical/Machine learning techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and process data from multiple sources
• Maintain documentation related to data sources, analysis, methodologies & results
• Present data findings to stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations
