Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Intern- Data Analysis for the summer of 2027 to gain hands-on experience in the lumber industry.

This internship involves data collection and analysis, reporting, and assisting in designing new products, developing specifications, and testing existing products for safety or quality. Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and PowerBI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Sophomore pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in chemical or industrial engineering with a 2.5 GPA or higher.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook; PowerBI experience preferred.
• Ability to collect data, analyze results, and generate reports; work with supervisors on project needs.
