Job summary

Jobtailor in Milwaukee is seeking a data analytics summer intern to assist in architecting data solutions and delivering insights on key projects. You will support profiling, modeling, visualization, and ETL delivery while collaborating in stand-ups and stakeholder meetings.

The role requires pursuing a related degree with an anticipated May 2028 graduation, full-time summer hours (37.5-40), and part-time during school terms (15-20). Strong communication and eagerness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in data analytics, data science, computer science, business analytics, information systems or related degree
• Anticipated graduation date of May 2028 or later
• Local student able to start in June 2027
• Able to work full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week
• Able to work part time during school semesters, 15-20 hours per week
• Experience with data analysis, profiling, modeling, visualization, testing, integration and delivery
• Completed coursework or experience with SQL, SSIS, Python, Snowflake, Fabric, cloud data AI tools and other ETL development tools
• Interest and passion for data and curiosity in applying technology and data to solve business problems
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel
• High motivation, proactivity and strategic thinking
• Strong commitment to learning and contributing effectively
• Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status

• Assist in architecting successful data solutions
• Deliver value and solve problems on key projects
• Manage changing priorities
• Support data analytics, profiling, modeling, visualization, testing data solutions, data integration and delivery
• Participate in team stand-ups, sprint planning and stakeholder meetings
• Help move data requests from business questions to delivered insights and data solutions
• Gain exposure to critical business data problems that drive decisions
• Explore and use approved AI capabilities in daily work and projects
• Build professional relationships through teamwork, shadowing and mentorship
