Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is offering a year-round internship on the Branch Operations Performance and Analytics (BOPA) team. The role involves data analysts, data stewards, and program managers who collaborate to make branch data available across departments and support stakeholders to improve member experiences.

The internship requires current enrollment in college or graduate programs for duration of the internship, with hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (20–25 hours per week).

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Research the department's data assets to drive awareness of the range of data sources, database content, lineage, and transformation logic.
• Create and enhance documentation of data sources, data content, lineage, record retention plans, and transformation logic for base measures, KPIs, and departmental metrics.
• Process and update data in automated systems; may generate and analyze reports.
• Investigate root cause for issues with database updates and accuracy.
• Support periodic audits of data table accuracy and access permission lists.
• Assist and collaborate with Data Stewards, Analysts, and staff to accomplish tasks.
