Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. is hiring a BI engineer to deliver BI information across the organization. You will assess business requirements, identify technical specs, and develop technology solutions to meet needs.

You will design and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, semantic layers, dashboards, and reports. Strong SQL and Python skills, plus data modeling and enterprise-scale thinking, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a technical role engineering data and/or analytics solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering data-centric projects.
• Excellent data skills, including complex queries and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BI information to the entire organization, including requirements assessment and technical specification collection.
• Develop and maintain data integration solutions (ETL/ELT), semantic layers, reports, and dashboards.
• Translate business needs to system requirements, data mapping, and data/semantic model design.
• Analyze requirements and apply architectural concepts to scalable, secure, reliable solutions.
