Job summary

ApplyLogic Consulting Group, LLC seeks a Data Analytics Developer to transform data from multiple sources into reports, dashboards, and insights for a federal government client in Northern Virginia. You will use SQL, Power BI, Excel and other tools to support decision-making.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or reporting, with on-site work in Alexandria/Falls Church area and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 2+ years in data analytics, BI, or reporting.
• Experience writing SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Experience developing reports/dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable reports and visualizations.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and validate data from relational databases and other sources.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and areas needing attention.
• Prepare data for reporting by cleaning and validating inputs from multiple sources.
• Support development/maintenance of Power BI datasets, reports, dashboards, and visuals.
• Gather reporting requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
• Validate data quality and ensure reports reflect underlying data accurately.
• Assist with recurring operational, management, and analytical reports.
• Troubleshoot reporting and data issues and coordinate with technical teams.
