Job summary

ApplyLogic is seeking a Data Analytics Developer to join our federal government–focused team in Northern Virginia (Alexandria/Falls Church area). You will transform data from multiple sources into reports, dashboards, and insights using SQL, Power BI, and Excel.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in data analysis or BI, plus strong analytical and communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Analytics, CS, IS, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis, BI, or reporting.
• Experience using SQL to query and analyze data.
• Experience developing reports/dashboards with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Experience working with data from relational databases or multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and validate data.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and anomalies.
• Prepare data for reporting by cleaning and validating sources.
• Support development and maintenance of Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards.
• Document report definitions, data sources, and business rules.
• Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, and stakeholders.
