Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a data analytics and engineering professional in Huntsville to support enterprise data lakes, data warehouses, and BI platforms. You will design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, leverage Databricks, ODI, SQL, and Python to transform large datasets, and ensure data quality and governance through metadata documentation and lineage tracking.

The role involves developing BI semantic layers and dashboards with Power BI, OAS, Tableau, and similar tools, while monitoring production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Three or more years of professional experience in data analytics, reporting, data engineering, or BI initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.

Job description

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their "PUBLIC TRUST" prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an "ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST" or SUITABILITY are preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Three (3) or more years of professional experience supporting data analytics, reporting, data engineering, or business intelligence initiatives.
• Hands‑on experience supporting enterprise data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Strong expertise with:
• Databricks
• ETL/ELT development and orchestration
• Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• SQL
• Python
• Data integration and transformation
• Data quality validation and monitoring
• Metadata management and documentation
• BI semantic layer development and support
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, OAS, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Knowledge of production support processes, including pipeline monitoring, issue resolution, defect management, and operational maintenance.
