Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior BI Analytics professional in the United States to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions. The role focuses on translating stakeholder needs into actionable reporting, building robust data models, and delivering data-driven insights across public health and government initiatives.

Responsibilities include data transformation, statistical analyses, GIS visualization, and collaboration with data stewards and program leaders.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DHS Public Trust.
• Five or more years of experience in BI, analytics, or related field.
• Experience designing and administering enterprise Power BI solutions.
• Experience with Power BI Desktop/Service, DAX optimization, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Experience leading stakeholder engagement and translating objectives into analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visual analytics using Power BI.

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS \"PUBLIC TRUST.


• Bachelor's degree.


• FIVE (5) or more years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, data visualization, public health informatics, healthcare analytics, or a related field.


• Experience designing, developing, and administering enterprise Power BI solutions.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Master's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Geography/GIS, or a related field.


• Demonstrated understanding of AI-enabled analytics, generative AI, machine learning concepts, or intelligent automation.


• Experience supporting federal health, public health, healthcare, or government programs.


• Experience with public health informatics standards, data exchange, surveillance, epidemiology, or population health analytics.


• Experience with GIS and geospatial analytics tools such as ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, or QGIS.


• Experience with Python, R, SAS, SPSS, or other analytical/statistical programming tools.


• Experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms including: Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir Foundry, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric


• Familiarity or experience with Power Platform technologies including: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents


• Familiarity with data integration, API connectivity, and enterprise data architectures.


• Knowledge of responsible AI, AI governance, AI literacy, or AI implementation practices.


• Microsoft certifications such as: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate


• Experience supporting Agile project delivery environments.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$133,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
