Job summary

Wiss is seeking an early-career Staff Associate in Data Analytics to turn financial and operational data into actionable insights. You will prepare data, validate quality, and build dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, and Excel while writing SQL queries across multiple sources.

You’ll collaborate with clients and WissLabs on AI-augmented analytics, documenting procedures and delivering clear presentations to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related analytics field is required or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with data accuracy.
• Experience using Excel and at least one data-visualization tool (Power BI/Tableau).
• Familiarity with SQL and data modeling; Python or R is a plus.
• Ability to interpret data to communicate findings clearly in summaries and visuals.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and responsible use of LLMs is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Collect and cleanse financial and operational data from multiple sources.
• Validate data quality and perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and drivers for improvement.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Write SQL queries to extract and join data from multiple sources.
• Support data integration and automation for repeatable workflows.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and define KPIs.
• Present analytical findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Document data sources, logic, and reporting processes for knowledge transfer.
• Experiment with AI-assisted analytics and validate outputs for accuracy.
• Contribute to AI-forward finance data workflows with WissLabs.
