Job summary

Apex Service Partners is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. This role will triage data issues, perform ad-hoc analyses, and help scale our analytics capabilities to support data-driven growth.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners and senior leaders, using Python and SQL, Pandas, and data modeling to improve data infrastructure. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or relevant field.
• 3+ years of Python & SQL in a Data Analysis role.
• 3+ years with Python Data Science tools (Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn).
• 3+ years using SQL (CTEs, Pivots, Window Functions).
• Experience with JSON data.
• Experience querying OLAP Data Models (Star Schema).
• Snowflake and DBT experience a plus.
• AI/ML or statistical analytics experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Partner Services with ad-hoc data analysis, data audit reports, curated data sets, and exploratory data analysis.
• Take ownership of triaging reported data issues and identifying root cause.
• Partner with Data & Analytics to translate analyses into Data Model enhancements.
• Partner with Data & Analytics to implement Data Quality checks within existing Data Pipelines.
• Provide Data Analysis support for strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals.

Job Description - Data Analyst (Data & Analytics)

Mission of the Role

Apex is looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about helping build a world-class data and analytics organization. This individual would be responsible for (i) managing triaging reported data issues, (ii) supporting functions with ad-hoc data analysis, (iii) increasing the analytics posture of our data infrastructure, and (iv) being a thought partner on long-term strategic planning and data-driven growth initiatives with department leaders and other senior leaders within Apex.

The role is highly analytical, strategic, and data-oriented and is suited for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to technical and analytical capabilities, with a high level of emotional intelligence, to help grow the Company.

Responsibilities

• Support Partner Services functions with ad-hoc data analysis capabilities such as data audit reports, producing curated data sets, and exploratory data analysis.
• Take ownership of triaging reported data issues and identifying root cause.
• Partner with Data & Analytics team to translate data analysis proof-of-concepts into Data Model enhancements.
• Partner with Data & Analytics team to implement Data Quality checks within existing Data Pipelines.
• Provide Data Analysis support for strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience using Python & SQL in a Data Analysis role.
• 3+ years of experience working with Python Data Science such as like Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn,
• 3+ years using SQL functionality like CTEs, Pivots, Window Functions, etc.
• Experienced with working with JSON data.
• Experienced querying OLAP Data Models (Star Schema).
• Experience with Snowflake & DBT is a plus.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, or statistical analytics is a plus.
