This paid internship runs ~10 weeks from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027, based at the Geysers power plant in Middletown, California. You'll work with operational data, BI tools, databases, and emerging technologies to improve business processes and decision-making, preparing reports and dashboards for

Qualifications

• Master's student (preferred) or senior undergraduate pursuing a degree in a technical field.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational, engineering, maintenance, and business data.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Support data modernization and reporting initiatives.
• Assist with data documentation, governance, and quality improvement efforts.
• Help identify opportunities to automate business processes.
• Support development and testing of reporting and analytics applications.
• Research and evaluate AI and digital technology opportunities.
• Create documentation and communicate findings to stakeholders.
