Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking a Data Analyst to translate leadership intent into actionable data insights and decision-support dashboards for USD A&S. The role emphasizes Power BI, analytics, and DoD data sources, with on-site support from Arlington, VA.

You will develop intuition-driven dashboards, automate data pipelines, and collaborate with senior leaders to enable timely, data-driven decisions across acquisition, logistics, and procurement activities.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
3-5+ years in data analysis, engineering, and dashboarding.
Proficiency with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Jira.
SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and Python (pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow).
Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to translate complex discussions into actionable data products.
Experience in DoD or federal sector preferred.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Engineering: Source, integrate, and analyze data to support acquisition and sustainment decisions; apply analytics and automation.
Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for executives.
Process Optimization & Automation: Build data-driven workflows and pipelines to speed analysis and reduce manual reporting.
Tasker & Workflow Management: Monitor contract data and provide real-time leadership reporting.
Collaboration & Advisory: Partner with front office, IT, and analytics teams to ensure data integrity and guide leadership.
