Stifel is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Digital Solutions group. The role focuses on ad-hoc data extraction, reporting requests, and translating business requirements into actionable data sets using queries.

You will collaborate with business users, product management, and development teams to ensure data accuracy, maintain documentation, and serve as a subject matter expert for assigned data sets while seeking process improvements and clear stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years' investment, financial or technical experience.
• Solid understanding of financial industry terminology.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft T-SQL and database design.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of Stifel business data models and use that knowledge to optimize data relationships.
• Refine requirements from business users until full understanding is reached on the data requested.
• Build and leverage T-SQL queries to fulfill ad-hoc data requests and support data analysis initiatives.
• Perform data quality checks and due diligence on produced data.
• Provide peer review and assist team members on larger projects.
