Job summary

A part-time commitment of 10–20 hours per week offers a hands-on, structured experience. Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience or be enrolled in Masters studies, and own a MacBook/Mac with macOS

Qualifications

• Mac is required: own a MacBook or Mac with Apple M-series or Intel processor, macOS 15+.
• Proficient in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, charts, data cleaning).
• Experience with SQL, Python/R or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Pursuing or recently completed Masters, or 2–3 years of relevant experience plus BA from a reputable institution.
• Ability to clearly explain your reasoning while working.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mercor is looking for data analysts and spreadsheet specialists with 2-3 years of experience, or currently enrolled postgrad students in a quantitative field, to support a research project with a leading AI lab. You will work through real data analysis workflows on your own Mac to help benchmark and improve cutting-edge AI models.

Qualifications:

• Required: You must own a MacBook or Mac with an Apple M-series chip or Intel processor, running macOS 15 or higher. Applicants without a Mac cannot be considered.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Numbers, and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, charts, data cleaning, financial or operational models)

• Experience with SQL, Python/R, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Masters studies, or have 2-3 years of relevant experience + Bachelors from a prestigious institution

• Ability to clearly explain your reasoning while you work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
