The Senior Data Analyst will provide high-level analytic support to the Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) G-9’s Installation Analytics and Common Output Levels of Service (COLS) Program. This role requires the application of advanced data modeling, cost estimation, and performance analysis techniques to help drive strategic resource decisions across Marine Corps installations. The analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing large datasets, validating cost and performance models, supporting the development of data visualization dashboards, and preparing deliverables for executive-level decision-making.


Required Skills
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience with a BA/BS degree, or 5+ years of experience with a MA/MS degree in data analytics, operations research, economics, or a related field.
  • Expertise in quantitative analysis, including cost estimation, statistical modeling, and data validation techniques.
  • Proficiency with Power BI and Tableau for creating dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports.
  • Experience using DoD or federal data systems, including PBIS, DAI, and MCPRIME.
  • Strong knowledge of PPBEA and its role in resource planning, budgeting, and execution in government or military settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and present complex data findings to senior stakeholders.

Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-3022 for documentation of verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) of models and simulations.
  • Experience managing data collection efforts, including labor and non-labor costing and performance management metrics.
  • Background in policy and directives analysis, with the ability to recommend updates based on analytic findings.
  • Skilled in facilitating communities of interest and incorporating stakeholder feedback into data-driven frameworks.
  • Strong technical writing skills for preparing white papers, official correspondence, and analysis summaries.
  • Ability to support conference planning and executive-level meetings (e.g., FOAG, CWIG, ILMP).

$129,000 - $138,000 a year

At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.

We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for a comprehensive and generous benefits package.
