Job summary

Network Rail Consulting is hiring a Data Analyst in Seattle, WA for a hybrid role supporting client project teams. You will help strengthen transit asset management by extracting, compiling, analyzing, and visualizing data, with the ability to turn findings into clear dashboards and presentations for both internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Highly skilled in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communicator and writer with strong presentation and documentation skills.
• Experience with MS Co-Pilot.
• Strong visual storytelling ability to make data easy to understand.
• Ability to work independently with clients.
• EAM/CMMS experience strongly preferred.
• ERP/LMS/GIS applications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Compile data from client systems including Trapeze EAM, Maximo EAM, and LMS/ERP sources.
• Perform data mapping to support data migration and conformance evaluation.
• Develop data definitions/dictionaries with SMEs.
• Evaluate data quality against metrics and propose remediation plan.
• Partner with data governance to develop data standards.
• Create reference data and taxonomies for consistency.
• Extract, organize, and analyze data for trending and ERP/EAM comparisons.
• Support recommendations with data remediation feedback.
• Ensure data quality and compliance with state and federal laws.
• Design and build dashboards in Excel and Power BI for internal/external use.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for audiences.
• Assist client/project team as required.

What you’ll work on

• Compile data from client systems, including Trapeze EAM, Maximo EAM, and various LMS / EAM / ERP sources for training and inventory data.
• Perform data mapping to support data migration and data conformance evaluation.
• Develop data definition/dictionaries with subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Evaluate data quality against agency data quality metrics and propose a remediation plan.
• Partner with the data governance program to develop data standards.
• Create reference data and taxonomies to improve consistency and usability.
• Extract, organize, and analyze data for trending, and compare ERP/EAM program needs and requirements.
• Support recommendations by providing feedback on data remediation proposals.
• Ensure data quality and compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
• Design and build dashboards in Excel and Power BI for internal and external use.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Assist the client, Project Manager, or project team as required.

Skills and qualifications
