New York City Transit is seeking a Data Analyst (Power) Emerging Talent Intern to help develop Power BI dashboards, analyze operational data, and support data-driven decisions in the Power Department. This onsite internship offers hands-on experience with reporting tools and cross-functional collaboration.
You will work with analysts, engineers, and management, prepare findings for management, and help automate workflows with Power Automate while maintaining SharePoint sites.

All internship positions are onsite and require regular, in-person attendance at the designated work location.
OVERVIEW OF DEPARTMENT:
The Power Department is responsible for maintaining and managing the electrical and third rail systems that supply traction power to the New York City Transit network. It ensures safe, reliable, and continuous electrical service for train operations across the system. The Electrical oversee substations, cable systems, and maintenance, while the Third Rail focuses on maintaining and upgrading the third rail used to power trains. Together, these divisions handle critical repairs, capital projects, and emergency responses to sustain system reliability.
