Job summary

New York City Transit is seeking an Emerging Talent Intern for Subways Facilities Management. This on-site role supports project management, data analysis, and facilities systems development within the Department of Subways.

You will help with dashboards in Power BI, training material creation, and system configuration tasks. Open to undergraduates in CS, business, accounting, or finance with a 2.5+ GPA.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
• The candidate should possess organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
• The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently while being an active team player.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite the development of projects within Facilities Management.
• Assist renovation projects on a departmental level.
• Analyze data and identify trends and root causes.
• Create and maintain project trackers.
• Create user guides and training material.
• Create and update work order tickets and track status.
• Extract data from various sources and load into dashboards.
• Design and build Power BI dashboards with clear visualizations.
• Analyze data from EAM systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with EAM system configuration, training, and troubleshooting.
