Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Telecommunications, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, security operations, data analysis, or related IT disciplines.
• Strong data analysis skills for assessing large datasets for accuracy, completeness and security relevance.
• Experience using scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash to automate data collection and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, formulas, lookups, Power Query, data validation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of network, security, and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and compliance issues.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automated processes to collect, transform, validate, and report on security-related data.
• Utilize Excel capabilities (PivotTables, formulas, lookups, Power Query) to support analysis and reporting.
• Perform data integrity assessments to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency of datasets.
• Reconcile data across systems to identify discrepancies and ensure reliability.
• Analyze and validate network security configurations, firewall rules, VPNs, access controls, and asset inventories.
• Support cybersecurity teams by validating control data, configuration records, and vulnerability management information.
• Create dashboards and reports that provide insight into security posture, network performance, and compliance.
