Position Purpose:

Responsible for analytic data needs of the business unit. Handle complex data projects and act as a lead for other Data Analysts.

1. Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in areas such as claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, and external reporting.
2. Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources.
3. Review data to determine operational impacts and necessary actions; escalate issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement to management.
4. Develop reports and deliverables, and make recommendations to management.
5. Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and other data warehouse analytical tools.
6. Assist management in making data-driven business decisions.
7. Ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis.
8. Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analysts.
9. Help determine workload and activities for other Data Analysts.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
11. Comply with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 6+ years of statistical analysis or 3+ years of related IT experience, including data warehouse, coding, or ETL experience. Healthcare experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience managing or significantly contributing to data-focused projects, including forecasting and predictive modeling, is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are highly desirable, especially the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Pay Range: $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year
