Job summary

CBRE Data Analyst role involves performing basic data analyses to back business conclusions with solid data research. You will review data to improve effectiveness and predict outcomes, supporting business intelligence across the Data Science & Analytics function.

The role requires building and maintaining data dashboards, pipelines, and models, with collaboration on agile teams to enhance processes and reporting. A strong foundation in SQL, Python, and data visualization is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, ETL pipelines and database management.
• Strong programming skills, especially Python for data analysis.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Good organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Use SQL and scripting languages to develop and maintain queries pulling data from multiple sources.
• Develop dashboards and assets including scripts, tables, and workflows.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to solve problems.
• Define data requirements and gather information using statistical tests.
• Use Python and open-source tools to plan models and extract insights.
• Develop data models, automation systems, and reporting metrics.
