Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries is seeking a Data Analyst III to support DoD-related analytics efforts, build reproducible workflows, and deploy automated data pipelines. The role emphasizes transforming data into actionable metrics and collaborating with IT and health/analytic teams.

Required is a Master’s degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of coding in Stata, R, or SAS; familiarity with medical records data is preferred. DoD clearance and federal contracting context are typical expectations.

SUMMARYThe Data Analyst III s upports operations and conducts data analytics projects to provide information and insights for decision-making or solution development. Implements data standards and deploys automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from different sources and transform data into usable metrics.Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. serves as a holding company with multiple subsidiaries engaged in several lines of business ( Business Services, Health, Infrastructure and Engineering, Mission Optimization, Technology and Transportation ) for the federal government and commercial enterprises. Familiarity with Stata is preferred.A strong background in health economics, epidemiology, public health, applied statistics, or a related field is required.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Designs and implements automated data pipelines and ETL processes to streamline data collection and integration from multiple sources.Executes complex statistical analyses and machine learning algorithms to derive actionable insights and drive strategic initiatives.Collaborates with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure and ensure scalability and reliability of analytics solutions.Leads the creation of interactive dashboards and personalized reports for various business units, utilizing advanced data visualization tools.Formulates and implements data analytics policies and standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across all organizational data activities.Evaluates and adopts emerging analytical tools and technologies to continually advance the organization's analytical capabilities.Utilizes scripting and querying tools like Python, R, or SQL, data visualization/BI tools, statistical methods, and data modeling to produce reports, data files, and dashboards.Merges data from multiple files, clean and manipulate observational data for research use, and prepare comprehensive summary tables.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMaster’s degree in health economics, epidemiology, public health, applied statistics, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience coding in Stata, R, or SAS at an advanced or expert level, including experience building reproducible workflows, automating analyses, and optimizing performance for large datasets. Familiarity with Stata is preferred. Experience working with medical records and/or data from the Military Health System (MHS) is desired.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWork is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit.
