Job summary

Upgrade, Inc. in Phoenix seeks a Data Analyst II to join its Operations Analytics team. You will analyze data, build models and dashboards to influence operational decisions across the Phoenix Service Center.

You will partner with operations leaders to define KPIs, develop performance metrics, and visualize insights that drive efficiency. A hybrid work setup from Phoenix is preferred, with some remote flexibility for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• You must have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of data analysis and visualization experience.
• Strong SQL and data query/mining skills.
• Experience with data modeling and relational databases.
• Experience applying statistical techniques and simulations.
• Excellent data storytelling and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Tableau or Power BI; familiarity with other tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for ad hoc analysis.
• Experience in financial services is preferred.
• Experience with Python for statistical analysis is preferred.
• Experience with Contact Center Analytics and A/B testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consult with operations leaders to identify problems and opportunities to leverage data.
• Collect, analyze and interpret large data sets from multiple sources to answer business questions.
• Develop data models to identify trends and drivers informing decisions.
• Apply forecasting methods and hypothesis testing to quantify impact and anticipate outcomes.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations using visualizations and presentations.
• Tell stories with data to resonate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage multiple analytics projects with attention to deadlines.
• Define dashboards and KPI frameworks with operations leaders.
