Lead Data Governance Analyst (Remote, United States)

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Responsibilities:

1. Develop methods for data collection, analysis, and reporting for a department or school.
2. Utilize best practices to analyze and interpret data using statistical techniques.
3. Identify actionable insights and recommendations.
4. Create presentations and reports based on findings.
5. Work directly with clients to identify analytical requirements and collect data requirements.
6. Analyze, determine technical issues, and design ad-hoc reports.
7. Collect, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional and system requirement specifications.
8. Guide other less experienced team members.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in statistical analysis, database management, or related studies and 3 years data analysis or customer resource management systems required.
2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, with a proven track record of working with large datasets and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel required.
3. Extensive experience with SQL, including data extraction, manipulation, and querying from various databases required.
4. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex dashboards and automated reporting systems.
5. Strong background in integrating and consolidating data from multiple sources and systems.
6. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to address data quality challenges.
7. Advanced Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and Excel skills required.
8. Working knowledge of Finance, specifically construction finance preferred.
