Job Summary:

Alluvionic is seeking a Data Analyst II to support the US Marshals Service contract for the Judicial Security Division. The position requires technical knowledge of data solutions to improve information processing, ability to analyze statistics, provide trend analysis and forecasting, and create data-driven presentations. The role may support the division's intelligence, financial, or technology programs.

Must be a US Citizen
Clearance Required: Yes – Obtain a High-Risk Public Trust (T4)
*This is an onsite position.*

Travel: 0-10%

Responsibilities:

  1. Data analysis and reporting - Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement; prepare reports for high-level briefings.
  2. Process Improvement - Identify and implement changes to optimize operations, enhancing efficiency and clarity.
  3. Policy and Procedure Development - Draft, revise, and implement policies and procedures.
  4. Budget Management - Oversee program budgets, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Technical Expertise - Demonstrate a strong understanding of computer systems, software, and related technologies for designing databases and systems.
  6. Communication and Collaboration - Share findings and recommendations with management and stakeholders, and collaborate with other departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum three years of experience in qualitative data collection and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (functions, pivot tables, lookups)
  • Advanced experience with SharePoint, Power Query, and Power BI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous government agency experience
