2ndWave LLC seeks a Data Analyst I to provide professional data management and analytical support, improving data quality, timeliness, and decision-making across program operations. Responsibilities include collecting and cleaning data, generating reports and dashboards, and coordinating with Government staff to align reporting priorities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years of experience, with proficiency in Excel and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of data analysis or data management experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).
• Strong attention to detail with data cleaning, validation, and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility for U.S. government background investigation; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from government and industry sources.
• Perform statistical analyses and identify trends.
• Develop recurring reports, dashboards, and visualizations using approved software.
• Document data sources, business rules, and methodologies.
• Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and data management systems.
• Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting.
• Prepare briefing materials, charts, and analytical summaries.
• Coordinate with government personnel to identify reporting priorities.
• Respond to data requests and information calls.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy requirements.
