Downtown Emergency Services Center seeks a Housing Program Data Analyst to enhance housing programs through data analytics and documentation standards. This role is hybrid, requiring periodic in-office meetings in Seattle, WA.
The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills and experience working in human services, contributing to DESC's mission of supporting individuals experiencing long-term homelessness.

Location: Hybrid Remote - must live in WA state and be able to commute to Seattle, WA once or twice per month

Recognized nationally as an innovator and leader in developing solutions to homelessness, DESC is a social services organization, supportive housing operator, and licensed behavioral health treatment provider focused on meeting the needs of people experiencing long-term homelessness and living with complex behavioral health and other medical conditions. Approximately 3,000 people are actively receiving services from DESC at any given point in time. DESC operates five shelter/emergency housing programs, 19 permanent supportive housing facilities with over 1,750 units, several hundred additional scattered site apartments, and a range of behavioral health services including outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment, residential crisis stabilization, street outreach, mobile crisis response, and treatment for opioid use disorder.
The Housing Program Data Analyst is a member of a multi-disciplinary team that will support DESC’s mission by providing a spectrum of analytic and administrative services for housing programs. Considerable attention and skill are needed in the area of data analytics, problem solving, tracking, reviewing housing service documentation, and using SQL. The Housing Program Data Analyst will work under the supervision of the Senior Manager of Policy and Program Analytics and in coordination with the Housing Compliance Associate to ensure housing programs are complying with all applicable laws, regulations and contract requirements.
