Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst to transform operational data into actionable insights that improve productivity, quality, and labor utilization within a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role partners with operations leadership to identify trends, develop reporting, and drive data-informed decision-making. You will design dashboards, monitor metrics, and present recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, and complex formulas.
• Experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and root causes.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports using business intelligence tools.
• Monitor key operational metrics, including productivity, quality, throughput, inventory accuracy, labor utilization, and service performance.
• Partner with operations managers to support labor planning, staffing analysis, and capacity forecasting.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business initiatives and operational improvements.
• Translate complex datasets into clear recommendations for frontline leadership and senior management.
• Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies across multiple systems.
• Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
