Job summary

Illumination Works at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, seeks a Data Analyst/Engineer to join a hybrid team, 2-3 days on site in Ogden. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or comparable academic discipline.
• Secret clearance required.
• 3+ years of Data Analyst/Engineer experience.
• Experience with Python scripting, SQL and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Azure Functions and Azure Log Analytics or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and business data understanding.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to acquire.
• Must pass drug test and background screen.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to automate ETL using Azure Functions and Python.
• Utilize Python and core data libraries to optimize data processing and analysis.
• Act as data steward governing inbound/outbound datafeeds.
• Leverage PySpark and Databricks to architect big data ETL processes.
• Implement data lineage, logging, and auditability with Azure tools.
• Operate within the government version of Azure for required features.
• Maintain BI dashboards with Qlik and Plotly.
• Work independently and in teams, with strong collaboration.
• Translate data requirements into technical solutions with business impact.
