Illumination Works is seeking a Data Analyst/Engineer for hybrid work at Hill Air Force Base, UT. You will automate ETL, govern datafeeds, and architect big data pipelines using PySpark and Databricks. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Azure tools, and BI dashboards is essential. A Secret clearance, degree, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required.
• 3+ years as Data Analyst/Engineer focusing on Python, SQL, and ETL.
• Familiar with Azure Functions and Azure Log Analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and business data understanding.
• CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/Analytics or similar.
• Must pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to automate ETL with Azure Functions and Python.
• Use Python libraries (Pandas, SQLAlchemy, pyodbc) to optimize data processing.
• Govern inbound/outbound datafeeds as data steward.
• Build and maintain big data ETL with PySpark and Databricks.
• Implement data lineage, logging, and auditability with Azure tools.
• Operate within government Azure environment.
• Develop BI dashboards with Qlik and Plotly.
• Collaborate across teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Deeply understand data and business logic to aid decisions.
