Illumination Works LLC is hiring a Data Analyst/Engineer to join the Hill Air Force Base project in Utah. The role blends data engineering with analytics, focusing on Python-driven ETL, PySpark, and Databricks in a government Azure environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in a technical field, 3+ years of related experience, and a current Secret clearance. You will build dashboards with Qlik/Plotly and collaborate across teams to turn data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst/Engineer with Python, SQL and ETL

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the data team to automate ETL using Azure Functions and Python
• Utilize Python libraries (Pandas, SQLAlchemy, pyodbc) to optimize data processing
• Act as data steward by governing inbound/outbound datafeeds
• Leverage PySpark and Spark SQL in Databricks to architect big data ETL
• Implement data lineage, logging and auditability with Azure tools
• Operate within the government Azure environment and adapt to its features
• Maintain and develop BI dashboards with Qlik and Plotly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions
• Proactively analyze data to support decision-making
• Bridge infrastructure, developer and end-user needs in implementation
