U.S. News & World Report is seeking a meticulous Data Analyst on our Education team to safeguard data integrity behind our trusted college rankings. You will transform raw data into actionable insights, collaborating with technical, product and editorial teams to present rankings and methodologies clearly.

You will develop code to process large education datasets, refine ranking methods, and automate workflows while auditing outputs to ensure high accuracy and consistency across years.

Qualifikationen

• At least three years of professional experience using statistical programming to ingest, merge, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets.
• Experience using version-control systems such as Git and ticket-management systems to document and track work.
• Demonstrated ability to identify anomalies, validate analytical outputs, document work, and maintain accuracy across complex processes.
• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, data science, or related social science).
