Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or a related internship or academic setting.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, common table expressions, aggregations, window functions, and data validation techniques.
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis using tools such as pandas, Jupyter, or comparable libraries.
• Experience building dashboards or reports with Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or a similar business intelligence platform.
• Understanding of relational data modeling, key performance indicators, experiment measurement, and basic statistical concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, business analytics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Bonus: Experience with dbt, Git, cloud data warehouses, product analytics tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel, or automated data quality testing

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to identify trends, performance drivers, and opportunities across product and business operations
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports in Looker, Tableau, or a comparable BI platform
• Define, document, and validate business metrics in partnership with stakeholders and data engineering teams
• Write tested SQL models in dbt and contribute to curated datasets in a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Investigate data quality issues, reconcile conflicting sources, and communicate clear findings and recommended actions
• Support product and operational experiments by designing measurement plans, tracking key metrics, and interpreting results
• Present analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences through concise documentation, visualizations, and stakeholder reviews
