Turner & Townsend is seeking a Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights across real estate and infrastructure projects. You will support KPI tracking in Power BI, analyze large datasets, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to issue POs and report accruals and prepaid invoices.

The role emphasizes strong Excel and data visualization skills, plus programming familiarity. On-site requirements may vary with client needs, and SOX controls may apply where relevant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven work experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in construction/engineering.
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools and programming languages.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to convey technical info.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis between data sets to recognize differences and validation.

• Liaison between Senior Cost Managers and Finance to report accruals and invoices.
• Create and maintain cash flow dashboards.

• Compile and maintain market data on construction material costs for buyout evaluations.

Job Description

• Data Analysis between data sets to recognize differences and validation.
• Support for Power BI Models to enable KPI tracking.
• Work closely with various cross functional partners to facilitate the issuance of Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Changes.
• Liaison between Senior Cost Managers and Finance to report accruals and prepaid invoices.
• Create and maintain cash flow dashboards.
• Compile and maintain data for project buyout analytics.
• Maintain weekly updates for minor project budgets.
• Compile and maintain market data on construction material costs for use in buyout evaluations.

Key Attributes

• Strong and proven capability using excel to analyze large data sets.
• Experience with Power BI and other modeling software platforms.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical, creative thinking, written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with computers including the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Power BI.
• Works well in a team environment and independently, gives and receives clear expectations.

• Proven work experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
• Expertise in using professional data analysis and visualization tools, along with proficiency in programming languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with construction management software and systems.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Certification in data analysis or related fields.
