Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale construction projects on-site. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects and manage milestones and budgets.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Procore and MS Office, and the ability to provide technical cost control and value engineering guidance as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
• Strong organizational and management capabilities with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Effective presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction project management tools including Procore.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects.
• Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
• Verify effective project governance, processes, and systems are utilized.
• Ensure application of best practice on all projects and produce status reports.
• Monitor progress of multiple construction projects and interface between suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Managestakeholdersincluding architects,engineers,and supplychainsto deliver compliantprojects.
• Cananalyze,track,and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid scheduleslips.
• Verify that effective project governance,processes,and systems areutilized.
• Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
• Production of formal project status reports and other reports asrequired
• Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards areappliedcorrectly.
• Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
• Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
• Forecast and update key project milestonesand budget.
• Manage andmonitorlocal design teamsin accordance withcommission criteria
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, generalcontractorsand regional stakeholders
• Rapid response to RFIs from the field
• Provideexpertisefor cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance whererequired
• Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals,timelines,and costs from architects,contractorsand suppliers.
• Client management –assistin developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities.
• Strategic Thinking -providesadvice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’objectivesand businessobjectives.
• Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each projectarecaptured.
• Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management,architecture,engineeringor field related to construction.
• Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
• Effective presentation skills
• Proficiencyin Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
• Strong communicationskills.
