The Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy is seeking a Data Analyst to work with an interdisciplinary team of social science and IT professionals on data acquisition, cleaning, analysis, interpretation, and presentation for applied research and evaluation projects in the Community Data and Research Lab.
The role reports to the Director of the Community Data and Research Lab and is a full-time position located at the Pew Campus with flexible work arrangements per university policy.
The Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy seeks to add a Data Analyst. This position will work with an interdisciplinary group of social science and information technology professionals to provide data acquisition, cleaning, analysis, interpretation, and presentation support to applied research and evaluation projects within the center’s Community Data and Research Lab.
The Data Analyst works closely and collaboratively with one or more of the lab’s research managers, clients, and other staff across the center. Key to the position is maintaining the highest standards of research quality and ethics, ability to follow existing data protocols and suggest and implement improvements, and serve as a \"data ambassador\" across the Johnson Center.
The position reports to the Director, Community Data and Research Lab. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position located at our offices on the Pew Campus at GVSU, with the opportunity for flexible work arrangements according to the GVSU remote work policy.
Salary: $45,200 to $67,800 depending on experience

Campus Location:The Johnson Center for Philanthropy is located on the Pew Campus of Grand Valley State University. We are in BIK 200, which is close to Winter and Secchia Halls and the Seidman College of Business.
