Genesis10 is seeking a Data Analyst for a 6-month remote contract position with a leading client. Candidates located in OH, MN, TX, and IL are preferred. The target W2 pay rate ranges between $55.00 and $65.00 per hour. We are not considering corp-to-corp arrangements, but OPT and EAD candidates will be considered.

Job Description:

This role involves supporting data governance and management within a business segment, focusing on critical data elements, data quality, metadata, lineage, and reference data to ensure data is fit for regulatory and management reporting. The candidate will support data literacy and prioritize data issues.

Experience with Anomalo, Callibra, or Informatica is highly preferred, along with strong SQL skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support metadata, business definitions, and lineage mapping into enterprise tools.
• Assist in managing segment-specific reference data.
• Support effective data management and governance practices, ensuring adherence to policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Data Managers, Data Trustees & Curators, and technology partners across the data lifecycle.
• Contribute to ongoing data quality improvements within the segment.
• Participate in data analysis for regulatory and management reporting.
• Identify Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and perform data profiling.
• Manage data-related controls on supporting systems.
• Understand legal, compliance, and regulatory issues impacting data.
• Partner with the Data & Architecture Office to support data literacy efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of data analyst experience, including 1+ years in data management, data quality, or data governance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Anomalo, Informatica, or Collibra.
• Knowledge of data management policies, standards, metrics, controls, and processes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Business outcome focused and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience participating in data-related projects or programs.
