Job summary

CFS is seeking a Data Analyst to develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, integrate data from ERP systems, and create budgeting and labor reporting tools. The role focuses on transforming data into actionable insights and optimizing reporting processes across manufacturing and finance teams.

You will balance hands-on analytics with system improvements in a hybrid environment, starting onsite in Holland, MI for the first week and then continuing with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using data from ERP and other business applications.
• Create budget reporting tools providing real-time visibility into monthly spending and budget utilization.
• Build reporting solutions that incorporate POs and PRs for forward-looking budget tracking.
• Enhance and support existing Power BI reports and dashboards while owning current reporting solutions.
• Partner with Finance and department managers to understand reporting needs and deliver insights.
• Identify and automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Develop labor reporting by integrating data from Dayforce and other systems.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Collaborate with ERP and system admins to access, validate, and optimize data sources.

Compensation: $35.00 - 41.00 per hour
Job Type: W-2 Contract, weekly pay (1-3 months, potentially longer)

Responsibilities Of The BI Analyst

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using data from the company ERP system and other business applications.
• Create budget reporting tools that provide managers with real-time visibility into monthly spending, budget utilization, and detailed expense categories.
• Build reporting solutions that incorporate approved purchase orders (POs) and purchase requisitions (PRs) to provide forward-looking budget tracking similar to a checkbook register.
• Enhance and support existing Power BI reports and dashboards while taking ownership of current reporting solutions.
• Partner with Finance and department managers to understand reporting requirements and deliver meaningful business insights.
• Identify and automate manual reporting processes, particularly within manufacturing operations, to improve efficiency and reduce spreadsheet-based workflows.
• Develop labor reporting by integrating data from Dayforce and other systems to compare hours worked versus hours paid.
• Analyze manufacturing and operational data to identify trends, improve visibility, and support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with ERP and business system administrators to access, validate, and optimize data sources.
